IES Construction & Roofing is a St. Louis-based exterior contractor founded on three principles that have guided every project since day one — the customer, the product, and the service. Get all three right and everything else takes care of itself.

How It Started

Construction has always been in the Valles family. Manny Valles grew up in St. Louis County watching his father work as a roofing subcontractor — building relationships with some of the oldest and most respected companies in the St. Louis region. The craft, the standards, and the work ethic were instilled early.

Before entering the trades, Manny spent time in tele sales — and that experience shaped something important. Working directly with customers every day, he came to understand something that a lot of contractors miss: the relationship between a customer, a product, and the service delivered matters as much as the work itself. A homeowner trusting you with their home deserves all three done right.

That insight stayed with him when he left sales to go work alongside his father building a subcontracting operation from the ground up. They learned the business together — the installations, the project management, the client relationships — working under some of the region’s most established exterior contractors. It was the kind of education you can’t get anywhere but the field.

In 2019 Manny founded IES Construction & Roofing — Infinite Exterior Solutions. The name says it plainly: whatever the exterior of a St. Louis home needs, IES has an answer for it. Roofing, siding, windows, gutters, custom trim work — the full scope of what goes on the outside of a home, done by a team that cares about getting it right.

Who We Are Today

Since 2019 IES has grown into one of the most credentialed exterior contractors in the St. Louis and Metro East Illinois market. We’ve been fortunate to work on some of the finest projects in the region — historic restorations in Kirkwood, custom cedar shake installations in Town and Country, standing seam metal roofing across St. Louis County and Metro East — and every one of those projects has the same thing in common.
